Naked bravery

A US man hoping to get his reluctant girlfriend to accept his marriage proposal, jumped from his apartment window and ran naked through the district in which he lives.
The man, of Ann Arbor, Michigan, was trying to show his girlfriend that taking risks was important. When a couple came walking by, the man hid in bushes. But the male passer-by heard the bushes rustling and pulled out a handgun.
The naked man took off with the armed man in pursuit. A shot was fired and the luckless lover stumbled and fell, but was not hit. The gunman was arrested on gun and assault charges. The naked man was not charged. It is not known if he has become engaged.
